  The food and presentation is phenomenal! Service is also excellent, new favourite restaurant! Definitely worth a visit!

  This restaurant is terrible! Absolutely horrible food! My glass of white wine was room temperature, tasted aweful and was NOT from our area! As the restaurant supposedly prides itself on the local products, you would think that they would serve wines from "The Beamsville Bench ". I ordered their chicken biscuit with sausage gravy. What a disgusting menu item! Totally saturated in fat, the bottom half of the "biscuit" was soaked, and the other half was burnt to a crisp! I would rather have had canned biscuits! The "sausage gravy " looked and tasted like wallpaper paste..... NOT chorizo sausage as described, more like chopped keilbassa, with the skin/casing still on! Their "coleslaw " was over-dressed spinach leaves, grainy mustard seed with "pickled watercress " from a can. I ate NONE of it! When I explained to the waitress what a disappointment the entire dining experience was, she apologized, yet brought me my bill, with absolutely no discount! When I questioned her about this, her opinion was that I ordered it,and I had to pay for it! I've heard from many other locals, what a disgrace this restaurant is, but thought I'd give it a try, bad mistake. Obviously, everyone else locally feels the same way, as my son and I were the only 2 people there! While directly across the street is August Restaurant, HUGE crowd, tonnes of happy and satisfied customers! I will never go back to Notorious! The only thing that they're notorious for is their disgusting food and terrible service! Can't wait til they go out of business and a REAL restaurant reopens in the space!

  Don't go here with a large group (8) of people. We waited an hour and a half for our food to arrive. It came to us cold, and my steak was well done even though I ordered medium rare.
