- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I recently went in to buy a cake for a family occasion. I opted for a mocha cake ,( from the display case) . I was assured it was fresh, by the OWNER/BAKER ( the younger one) . It was not! The mocha icing tasted old as if it had been sitting in a DIRTY fridge for weeks. The cake itself was really wet on the bottom and dry inside, and the cream(?) between layers was like rubber and tasted off!!! Very embarrassed that I had served it to guests! Why would you sell something that you KNEW was old, AND lie about it ? After reading some of the other reviews it seems , I'm not the only one who was sold sub standard products. Bad for business.
